Comments: I saw a comment on the web cam page saying that the mussels are a good thing for the lake; the sign of a healthy lake. I've experienced them for years in Lake Ontario and they are not a good thing. They will totally change the lake's appearance. Some fish species will disappear and some will move far from where they had been. New fish will replace them, but fingerlings will have a hard time surviv...(trimmed)

Comments: I was curious to know if you had a catch and release program on the 2 lakes concerning muskies. I noticed in the fish pictures that 2 muskies caught by a gentleman looked as if they were not released. Considering the natural reproduction is nearley nil and the state does not stock muskies anymore in either lake don't you think there should be a catch and release program implimented? I am looking for a place to park a small 21' motorhome for a day at a time, or an occasional overnight, near the water on either lake...don't need any hook-ups, just a view...we both work so we don't have much time to stay, we have no pets and we're quiet!
